This beautiful detached house is situated across the road from a park & the Brisbane River & has views across to trees and the city in the distance. Trains and buses are within walking distance. WiFi, television and Netflix are available. The garden is mostly laid to lawn & bordered by flowering shrubs, with a downstairs patio area with chairs & table. It is fully fenced and a lovely place to relax.
Upstairs has a large verandah also with chairs & table & wonderful views to the river. Main kitchen, dining room & loungeroom are upstairs.
There are 2 bedrooms available upstairs with one superking bed & one single bed: downstairs there is one double bed in a self contained studio with separate lounge room.
Laundry facilities are downstairs.
Tabletennis is available in the garage, & bicycles can be used.

About the location

Brisbane, capital of Queensland, is a large city on the Brisbane River, & will be hosting the 2032 Olympics. Clustered in its South Bank cultural precinct (20 minutes by car) are the Queensland Museum, Science Centre, & Queensland Gallery of Modern Art. There is a wonderful koala sanctuary with many native animals including platypus, areas to pat & feed kangaroos & feed beautiful parrots, also sheep herding display, & birds of prey flying display (17 mins by car). There are 2 Botanical Gardens. There is a wonderful affordable public transport system in Brisbane with trains, buses & ferries (all with 50 cent fares). Gold Coast surfing beaches & Seaworld are an hour away; Dreamworld, Movieworld & Wet`n`Wild less than an hour; & Sunshine Coast surfing beaches 90 mins drive. Point Lookout on beautiful Stradbroke Island can be reached by water taxi (53 mins drive) then bus on the island & is well worth a visit. Bushwalks are available in many hilly areas in & around Brisbane.
