Sydney Northern Beaches Home and Away.

Upstairs there is a large comfortable bedroom with beautiful ensuite and a spacious private balcony off this bedroom, with garden views across some playing fields. This bedroom has a large comfortable bed (210*160 cm); a table with some chairs, a smart TV and built in wardrobe with hanging space and drawers. There is also a well-appointed living/office area next to the bedroom with a lounge and we in the process of installing a small kitchenette here as well.
Downstairs there is a large, spacious well-equipped kitchen, dining area, laundry and toilet. Outside at the back there is an entertaining area which has a BBQ with a lovely surrounding garden.
There is safe private parking at the front of the home, Wifi access and a bicycle that can be used. Our home is available for an exchange from Thursday 30th July until Saturday 22nd August, 2026.
The home itself is private with quite a few trees and friendly neighbours. Often, especially in summer, we are entertained by kookaburras and other native birds.

About the location

The Northern Beaches is an iconic area to visit with “HOME AND AWAY” filmed around where we live.
There are several world-famous National Parks nearby, stunning coastal beaches for surfing and a number of swimming baths. There is also the estuary of Pittwater itself, great for sailing or jet skiing. Imagine fishing, hang gliding, playing tennis or golf, enjoying a coffee or just walking around enjoying the magnificence of the area. There are not a lot of places to stay in our area and B&Bs rent out for thousands over the summer period. People are friendly and it's a safe area. Our home is a 15-20 minute walk from Avalon with a supermarket, lots of shops and cafes, a library, Post Office, bank and a cinema. A perfect hub for exploring the Northern Beaches with a bus stop almost in front of our home where you can go south to Manly or to the Centre of Sydney; or you can catch a ferry north to the Central Coast or to various beautiful spots around the area.

We are not all that interested in the soap opera HOME AND AWAY but we live smack bang in the middle of the area where it’s filmed. We often drive past vans parked while filming is in progress and we may occasionally see a character or 2 wandering around.
