Take a short walk into old worlde Sandgate village, with its’,many popular cafe’s and supermarkets. Walk along historic Palm Avenue, for a breakfast at the Witchin’ Kitchen, or later in the day, try The Full Moon pub looking out across Moreton bay. Stroll by the creek to Shorncliffe Yach Club and try out their menu…and admire the beautiful views out to sea.

There are two easily accessible train stations, from the house. Shorncliffe and Sandgate have regular trains to and from Brisbane central station, with connections to Bayside, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, Brisbane International and interstate airport. By car, the airport, is a 15 minutes drive. May be more in peek hours.
