About the location

Our house is located 10 km south of Brussels in a quiet, leafy residential area 350m from the extensive Fôret de Soignes woods (great for walks, jogging, cycle rides). There are good train connections into Brussels from two nearby stations (at 5 and 15 mins walk) with good parking facilities and buses to Tervuren & Leuven. The Brussels ring is 1km away.

We are 1 km from the centre of an attractive small Flemish town (Hoeilaart), with shops, cafés and restaurants. 10 mins drive from Waterloo which is not only a popular tourist attraction, but also an excellent shopping centre with plenty of boutiques, restaurants etc. Nearby historic city & beauty spots worth a visit: Leuven and Tervuren (details provided in our exchange guide).
