Contemporary waterfront home with pool and views, near beaches, golf, Noosa and Brisbane

We`re originally from England and are looking exchanges in Europe. We are open to offers.

Our modern home with swimming pool overlooks Twin Waters lagoon and is close to white sand beaches, several world-class golf courses, local shopping, restaurants and an international resort-style hotel. The house is very light with an open-plan design incorporating a granite/stainless steel kitchen, living area, indoor and outdoor dining areas plus a terrace overlooking the pool and lagoon. There are 3 bedrooms plus a separate fully equipped office, 2 bathrooms with spa bath, a double garage and air-conditioning. This is our main home, used for home exchanging but never rented. However, we do have a second home, so non-simultaneous swaps are no problem for us and you can stay here whenever you prefer.

Unfortunately our home is not suitable for children. However, we do have a little tabby cat, Bailey, who would be here for simultaneous exchanges. And we would be very happy to care for a cat in an exchange home.

About the location

Beautiful Twin Waters is on the Sunshine Coast, 10 minutes drive to Mooloolaba and Maroochydore, 25 minutes to Noosa and 1 hour to Brisbane. Just a few minutes walk from our home is the Twin Waters Golf Course where kangaroos can often be seen grazing at the end of the day. We are moments from Mudjimba beach, a stunning strip of white sand, stretching 8 kilometres from the Maroochy River to Coolum. The area is a walkers paradise with dedicated paths for pedestrians as well as bikes.

The Sunshine Coast has some excellent restaurants (try "The Boat Shed" on the river at Maroochydore and "High Tide" beside Mudjimba beach), great shopping - including the markets of Eumundi and the craft stores of the mountain villages. Fishing, surfing, diving, kayaking, sailing and other sporting facilities in the immediate vicinity. A 30 minute drive will take you to the Blackall Ranges to view some dramatic terrain and views of mountains, valleys, rainforests and the Pacific Ocean. Whilst 3 hours to the north is Heritage Listed Fraser Island with its acclaimed golden beaches and Hervey Bay for whale watching.

We are close to Sunshine Coast Airport which has regular low-cost services with Virgin and Jetstar direct to Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns and Adelaide. Brisbane International Airport is an hour away with a shuttle bus service direct to our home.
