Bay of Plenty

Trout fishing, kayaking, white water rafting, scenic walks and a cafe/store selling gourmet food and wine are all on your doorstep when you stay at our lake-edge holiday home, 20 minutes from Rotorua city. New Zealand's own lake district also has hot pools, geysers, and spectacular geothermal areas, a variety of Maori cultural attractions, first class restaurants and bars, and activities to suit all tastes.

The beach resorts of Ohope and Mt Maunganui are both about an hour away, and if you tire of fishing from our jetty, the trout fishing centres of Taupo and Turangi are also close enough for a comfortable day trip.

Our house is warm in winter, airy in summer, and well set up to accommodate a couple or a larger group.
