About the location
Located in Australia`s most popular holiday destination but at the quieter southern end of the Gold Coast on the NSW side of the border. Drives to rainforest and waterfalls. One hour drive from Brisbane. 40 minutes to Byron Bay. The area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, golfers, bowlers, and surfers. Theme parks (Movieworld, Seaworld and Dreamworld) are 30 to 40 minutes drive. The area is famed for the local beaches. Whale watching from headlands during May to October. Several golf courses nearby. Cooly Rocks On Festival (50`s and 60`s nostalgia) Early June 2024. Pacific Airshow 16 to 18 August 2024.
