We live in a spacious four bedrooom house in the sunny and peaceful coastal community of Eastbourne, a 25 minute drive from the centre of New Zealand's capital city, Wellington. This city is well known for its arts and culture, and is a great place to explore the rest of New Zealand from.
Eastbourne is an outdoor paradise. The nearest beach is only two minutes from our house, and is suitable for swimming, surfing and sailing; bush walks abound; and a coastal track to the head of Wellington harbour is a popular place for cyclists and walkers. There are good shops, cafes, and galleries; and buses and a ferry travel regularly into the city. A car could be made be available on request.
