We live on Lake Macquarie which is the largest salt water lake in Australia, and opens out to sea at Swansea. Local shops 1km, shopping centre 10km,adjacent city is Newcastle, approximately 30km away.Buses outside the door. We are 100 miles north of Sydney, access by hourly train service or freeway.

Ocean Beaches are on the east side of the lake. The beaches are very popular with surfers and they are patrolled where indicated. The Lake in our area is popular with launches, yachts, water skiing.

We have a beautiful modern, comfortable house overlooking the lake, with extensive waterviews, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, main ensuite, with another bathroom upstairs. Downstairs we have kitchen, living and separate dining and third bathroom. Usual laundry facilities.

We are approximately 2 hours north of Sydney,on freeway, one hour fifty minutes on the train which goes to either the North Shore or Central Sydney. We are approximately 40 minutes away from the famous and popular Hunter Valley wine region where a very pleasant day can be spent wine tasting and lunching in cafes. Newcastle is our major city which has an active theatre/concert
program.
