Our house is a 100 year old villa set by the Avon River in central Christchurch, South Island. The beach is 10 minutes drive and mountains and lakes are 1 hour away and suitable for tramping/ skiing (winter). Summer months are hot and dry.
We have a modern kitchen/dining and comfortable lounge with great indoor/outdoor living, front verandah, large deck, fenced outdoor spa pool (hot tub) and plenty of room for relaxing. Our property is great for children and consists of garden, playground equipment, trampoline and playhouse.
Local facilities include parks, sporting facilities and shopping malls. The city offers many Arts and Cultural activites and a free summertimes programme. There are many restaurants and bars etc.
