Light and spacious family-friendly home

Our home sits inside a Danish co-housing community: 27 households with their own private houses, shared gardens, a common house, playgrounds, fruit trees and a car-free centre where the children play outside together.

Copenhagen is ~30 min door-to-door via direct train making it easy to go in and visit. Roskilde (with a UNESCO cathedral and other local conveniences) is a 10 min journey.

The house is 4/5 bedrooms, bright and quiet, with a proper kitchen, laundry and a dedicated workspace.

4/5 bedrooms: a double bed, a children`s room (currently with two beds), and three other rooms where beds can be moved to.

Full bathroom downstairs and additional toilet upstairs. Open kitchen and dining table that seats 8.

Underfloor heating throughout and a comfy sofa with TV/ Playstation. Standing desk, good office chair and fast fibre internet. Washing machine and dryer.

Large terrace (with pond), furnished for eating outside in summer. Cot, high chair, stair gate, (too many) toys and children`s books are all here already.

About the location

We are 15 minutes from Roskilde by bus, which is a proper town rather than a commuter suburb: a working high street, a weekly market, a cathedral that happens to be a UNESCO site, and the fjord for swimming and long walks.

The nearest supermarket is 15 minutes on foot and groceries can be delivered.

Copenhagen is around 25 minutes by train, so you can have city days without living in city noise. Woods and water in every direction.
