Spacious family home near Glasgow – perfect base for Christmas in Scotland

We have a spacious and comfortable family home in Clarkston, a leafy residential area on the south side of Glasgow.

It is our much-loved family home, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy a proper Christmas together. We have a large, well-equipped kitchen and dining area, comfortable living spaces, good-sized bedrooms, WiFi, laundry facilities, a private garden and off-street parking.

The house is particularly well suited to a family looking for more space than they would have in central Glasgow, while still being within easy reach of the city.

We have two teenagers, so this is very much a lived-in family home rather than a holiday rental. We would love to exchange with people who will enjoy and look after it as their own.

About the location

Clarkston is a friendly, leafy suburb to the south of Glasgow, with excellent local shops, cafés and restaurants and easy access to the city centre.

We are very well placed for exploring Glasgow and the surrounding area. Glasgow has fantastic museums, galleries, restaurants, theatres and shopping, while Loch Lomond and some of Scotland`s most beautiful countryside are within easy reach for day trips.

At Christmas, Glasgow is particularly atmospheric, with festive events, shopping, restaurants and plenty to do with teenagers and children.

Our location gives you the best of both worlds: a spacious, peaceful family base with easy access to Glasgow, while also being well placed for exploring further afield in Scotland....We are a family of four looking in particular for a home exchange in London over the Christmas/New Year period. We know London very well and are flexible about areas and, to some extent, dates.

We are also open to discussing non-simultaneous exchanges and other arrangements if that makes an exchange easier to organise.
