Cornish Cottage

Our much-loved home is in the pretty Cornish village of Marhamchurch, just a 10-minute drive from several beautiful beaches and the stunning North Cornwall coast.

Our home is a characterful 18th-century slate-hung cob cottage, thoughtfully extended to create a comfortable family home that blends original features with modern living. As a creative family, we`ve filled the house with artwork, books, plants and personal touches. Outside, the south-facing cottage garden is a lovely place to relax, with several sunny spots for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

The house sleeps up to five, with two double bedrooms and a single bedroom. We have two teenage children (aged 13 and 15). Our single room is very much a teenage bedroom - but we`ll make sure it`s clean, tidy and ready for your stay!

We previously welcomed guests through Airbnb and loved sharing our home, but we`re now looking for a more relaxed home swap where we can leave our belongings in place while taking our own family on new adventures.

We also have a few pets. Our friendly cat would stay at the house, and my son has a gecko, a gerbil and a tropical fish tank. If you`d prefer not to look after the smaller pets, we may be able to arrange alternative care for them.
