Twilight Cottage

Our home is a cosy, comfortable 18th century weavers cottage in the beautiful Cotswold town of Bradford on Avon.

On the ground floor is a the living room and a compact but well-equipped kitchen and dining space. In the living room is a 50` 4k TV with sound bar and there is a Sonos speaker in the kitchen. There is also Fibre broadband and plenty of subscriptions like Netflix and Disney+. We are keen readers so there are also lots of books for you to borrow and board games to play too. There is also an open fire for you to use in the colder seasons.

On the first floor is a nursery with a cot and a pull out small double sofa bed and blackout blind - ideal for one or two little ones. We can provide a double duvet, mattress topper and sheets. There is also a large bathroom with roll-top bath. On the top floor is a master bedroom with king-size bed.

The back garden is South West facing so gets lots of evening sun. There is also a home office with sink, kettle and underfloor heating which visitors are welcome to make use of.

The house is not suitable for those with mobility issues due to the number of steps in various places.

We have 2 dogs so also not suitable if you are allergic. We are happy for visitors to bring dogs (assuming they are at least relatively well behaved!) and the garden is secure.

About the location

Bradford on Avon is a beautiful historic town with lots of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The house is a short walk from the Wiltshire Music Centre and is a walkable distance to 3 great pubs. There are some great walks and cycle routes nearby as well and the River Avon is a great spot for paddleboarding. We have 2 paddleboards and 1 bike that you can borrow upon request.

We are a 3 minute walk from the bus to Bath and a 10 minute walk to the station which takes you to Bristol and Bath in about 30-40 mins. You can get the train to London via Bath in about 1 hr 45.
