My home is a bright, 50 square metre, second-floor, 1-bedroom, air-conditioned, corner studio flat that is ideal for 2 adults with two children or even 4 adults.
It has original floor-to-roof windows that provide abundant natural light throughout the day and open up onto balconies that overlook two quiet, cobbled streets
It has a fully-equipped, open-plan kitchen (with washing machine) and a bathroom with a separate toilet.
There is a double bed in the main living area and a single bed in the bedroom that has an extra pull-out bed underneath.
About the location
It`s right between the Barrio de Las Letras and Lavapies, two of Madrid`s most authentic and vibrant neighborhoods. Literally just round the corner is the Reina Sofia museum and the Atocha/Anton Martin Metro stations. It`s a 3-minute walk to the Prado and Thyssen museums and the Atocha railway station and 5 minutes to the Puerta del Sol or the Retiro park.
Basically everything that Madrid has to offer is within walking distance: culture, gastronomy, nightlife, parks, shops, etc.
