Architect built eco house set in beautiful surroundings overlooking loch and mountains

This house was build by Dualchas architects in a siting that would maximise on the view. It has an open plan kitchen / dining / room and living room which has open views to Loch Erghallan - sea loch which is ever changing. The views are mesmerising. Behind lies McLeod`s table mountain where it is said the clan chief once threw a wedding dinner party on the top. Each room has windows with views and decking area to sit out on. Although the famous weather on Skye changes very quickly!

About the location

Isle of Skye is recognised as one of the most stunning islands in Scotland with incredible diverse landscapes and wildlife.

Skinidin is 15 mins drive or less outside of Dunvegan (there is the famous castle) very close (walking) to famous eatery The Three Chimneys. Also 15 mins drive to Neist point lighthouse set below dramatic cliffs and views out to the outer Hebrides. Great for Sunsets. We are also close drive from Coral beaches. So plenty to discover.

There are seals in the loch and sea otters spotted (but rarely seen). Skye`s landscape and nature is unforgettable.

There are boat trips from Waternish - diver`s eye as well as Eagle trips at Portree.

Lots of restaurants in Dunvegan but you may need to book. These include the Dunvegan, The old Schoolhouse, Jan`s cakes. More upmarket Skye has a reputation for fine dining at the Three Chimneys, Greshornish house, Edinbane house hotel etc.
