All are easily accessible via the A38, the main road to Cornwall. Or the nearest train station in Newton Abbot. Totnes & Dartington (The original Transition Town), Dartmouth, Salcombe and Torquay are all within an easy drive.

Also, Dartmoor, the Hounds of the Baskervilles inspiration, with thatched villages, ancient woodlands and Princetown, with its Victorian Prison, built by American prisoners from the War of Independence.
