The Comox Valley is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Cumberland is only a ten minute drive to Comox Lake, a gorgeous spot for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Likewise, Strathcona Provincial Park is easily accessed from here - a short 30 minute drive to the trail head at Paradise Meadows. Day-hikes and multi-day hikes begin here.
Visitors can rent kayaks in Courtenay, go sailing from Comox, or spend the day exploring the nearby islands.
