Town centre house in Brecon Beacons National Park
Our house is a 3 bed Edwardian terrace in the centre of Abergavenny, south-east Wales.
Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms a child's room with a cot and a bathroom. Downstairs is a living room with log burning stove and open kitchen dining room which leads out into the garden. The garden has lawn for kids to play, a veg patch and sunny sitting area. The house is situated on the main road through Abergavenny, right in the centre of town.
About the location
Abergavenny is known as the gateway to the Brecon Beacons National Park. A lively market town with shops, cafes, cinema, swimming pool and parks. You can walk from the town up to the top of the Sugar Loaf mountain, and a short drive away you will find the highest peaks in south Wales along with lakes and forests. It's a perfect area to explore if you like hiking, camping and the outdoors.
The cities of Cardiff and Bristol are just one hour each by car or train and the smaller city of Hereford is just 40 minutes.
