Boise Foothills Beauty

We live in a single-story house in the foothills of Boise, Idaho. Our back patio has a four-season 160-degree gorgeous view of the Treasure Valley and a view of the distant Owyhee mountains across the Valley. Our house is sunny and bright with an open floor plan. It sleeps up to six people. We have two bedrooms with queen-size beds and ensuite bathrooms and a third room (library/den) with a queen-size sofa bed and attached bathroom (shower only). The master bedroom has a small deck for enjoying morning coffee while viewing the City of Trees or glass of wine while watching the sun set. The TV/Family Room has a cozy gas stone fireplace. The best feature in the house besides the view, is our kitchen! We love to cook and entertain. Hence, the kitchen is open with a large island, two sinks and plenty of counter space. It is the central gathering place and heart of our home. Additionally, we share our house with a sweet, gentle cat named Genie and dog named Lizzie. Our cat will need care (food, water, etc.) when you stay in our home.

About the location

Our neighborhood is quiet and full of friendly people. Mountain biking, hiking and walking trails are nearby in the foothills via The Ridge to Rivers trail network which consists of over 190 miles of trails linking the city of Boise with public lands. Additionally, the Boise River Greenbelt is within 10 minutes of our home.

Boise is the state capital of Idaho. Boise offers a unique blend of outdoor adventures, cultural experiences, and a thriving music and arts scene. It is fondly known at the City of Trees and is situated on the Boise River that has rafting, kayaking and paddle boarding during the summer. Seattle & Portland are a 1 hr. flight from Boise. Yellowstone Park is an 8 hr. drive away.
