We have a 2 bedroom flat in London located between Finsbury Park and Crouch End up near the top of Crouch hill. It is in a converted house in a residential neighbourhood which has four flats, each owned by the occupants living in them. We jointly own the freehold to the house so are always cooperating on joint repairs and other mutual issues. It has a modern kitchen, small but functional bathroom with a full bathtub, a modest size living room and two small bedrooms each of which has a queen size bed. One is for us and the other is what we provide to our friends who come and stay with us. The street is quiet and there is a small store and coffee shop about 3 short blocks away. it is very secure.
About the location
It is a quiet residential area. There is excellent public transport and you can reach central London (Trafalgar Square) in about 30 minutes. There is a local bus that runs down the street in front of our house and a local train that is 4 blocks away that takes you into the city and connects to Finsbury Park station (one stop) to travel on the tube (Piccadilly and Victoria lines). There is excellent shopping on Green Lanes where there are good Turkish restaurants or at Crouch End where there are numerous more traditional British restaurants.
