A modern barn conversion centrally located in the West Country set within its own grounds with private lake.

We have owned the entire property since 2005. We converted our barn in 2019 and it has been our home since that date.

Located in a small valley within the Exe valley, the house sits in the middle of a 12 acre plot.

Built as an 'upside down' home the living area is upstairs, overlooking the land and lake. The living room and balcony are South facing and receive direct sunlight throughout the day.

Three bedrooms, the master with an on-suite bathroom. A shower room/toilet serves the other two. The house has underfloor heating throughout.
We have high speed fibre broadband installed.

Because of the lake and numerous ponds surrounding the house we would not consider it suitable for young children.

About the location

Described as Mid Devon, although rural we are perfectly located easy access to the West Country. North and South Devon coastlines around 50 mins, Somerset 30 mins, Cornwall 50 min ands Dorset about the same. 20 minutes from the main M5 motorway.
Good pub and restaurant in the local village, a 2-3 minute car journey or 25 minute walk.
The village is well served by public transport.
There are many other options in the surrounding villages.
Easy access to the Cathedral City of Exeter, 25 minutes by road. The market town of Tiverton is 10 minutes by road.
