About the location

We are 15 minutes walk (or 4 minutes drive) to the nearest beach, opposite the beautiful Torre Abbey. There are other choices of beaches and coves a short drive away (including Agatha Christie's favourite spot, Beacon Cove near the harbour).

It's also a 15 minute walk to the charming quintessential village of Cockington with it's thatched roof cottages, grand estate, and woods. It's a 30 minute walk to the harbour where there are lovely restaurants and is within easy reach of theatres, cinemas and shopping in the town centre.

The bustling bohemian town of Totnes is a 30 minute drive, with it's independent shops and Castle and the nearby Dartington Hall/Gardens.

Dartmoor National park is a 40 minute drive away with many tors, walks and wild swimming spots to enjoy.

10 minutes away is Splashdown, the renowned family fun waterpark and 30 minutes away is the fishing town of Brixham where you can explore Berry Head, the national nature reserve, the Golden Hind Museum Ship and the south west coast path.

It's also a 30 minute drive to Exeter with it's wonderful museum, Cathedral and theatres/music venues.
