Modern apartment, close to the water and city

Our home is modern, light and airy two bedroom apartment with an open plan living room and generously sized kitchen. We also have a large balcony with a dining area, sofa and grill (a must have for any self-respecting Swedish home). There are two bedrooms, the master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a sofa bed (also a queen size) which is very comfortable, as well as a cot. The bathroom has a walk in rainshower along with a washer and dryer. We have an 18 month old daughter, so our home is also perfect for young children and families.

About the location

Located in Liljeholmskajen, our home is surrounded by nature and has easy access to the city, being only 10 minutes away from Södermalm, the cultural heart of the city, and 15 minutes from the city centre. From our apartment, you can get pretty much anywhere in the city with ease.

We’re also located a short 5 minute walk from the nearby waterfront, which is full of cafes, restaurants, bars and is also a popular place to take a dip, particularly in the summer (or in the winter if you’re brave enough). Our apartment is surrounded by parks and there is a nature reserve close by, so it’s a lovely area to spend time in.

If you like to walk, the city is just 20 minutes away by foot on the other side of the water, where you will find Hornstull, an area that’s home to many popular spots including a weekend waterfront food market that’s a great place to spend the afternoon. Walking along the water from there you will find lots of gems, such as kayak clubs offering Stockholm city tours by kayak.
