About the location

Our house is on a quiet residential close but just 5 minutes’ walk from Peckham, a lively neighbourhood that is full of renowned restaurants including the fantastic, Michelin-recommended Artusi, Peckham Cellars, Kudu, Levan and vegan restaurant Naïfs. More casual eateries include excellent Vietnamese, Bao buns, sourdough pizza, South Indian food and Suya, all on our doorstep. Eating out here is a joy and we are always happy to give restaurant recommendations!

Peckham also has many bars and cafes, including rooftop bar Forza Wine which has fabulous views of the London skyline. We are blessed with lovely green spaces including Peckham Rye Park and Nunhead Cemetery, one of London’s Magnificent Seven Victorian cemeteries. Nunhead, a 5 minute walk in the other direction, has more of a traditional village feel with a wonderful family-run bakery, fishmonger and vermouth bar! Two of Time Out London’s best pubs, Skehan’s and the community owned Ivy House, are a short walk away.

Local attractions include the South London Gallery, Dulwich Gallery and the Horniman Museum. Peckham has fast, direct rail links to London Bridge, Victoria and East London for access to London’s many galleries, theatres, shops and attractions.
