Stylish terraced house in central York location.

We have lived in York for almost 12 years now and in this house for 6. It is a traditional York terraced house over 3 floors. One master and one single bedroom make up the first floor and an attic bedroom with en-suite on the second floor.

It is a family home for two adults and one child, currently 5 years old. We have an open plan kitchen-diner that looks out onto our garden and outhouse. The outhouse has a toilet and washing machine and currently houses a drum kit too!

We are an arty, musical family that loves to spend time listening to our vinyls and watching movies together. We spend time together in the garden when it’s mild enough and often spend days in the nearby parks. We are located in the very popular ‘Bishy Road’ area of York.

There is on street parking and we have two cars available for swapping. We also have one adult bicycle that can be used.

About the location

Bishy road has been given the high street of the year award numerous times recently and has many independent shops, cafes and restaurants - it’s truly lovely to spend time there.

We are about a 15 minute walk into the centre of York, going via Millenium bridge and down the river path. We love this walk and as long as the river isn’t flooded is a perfect way to get into town. We have a bike to use for this too.

York has two University’s and so has a vibrant population of students and academics throughout the year. It has many restaurants and pubs (one for every day of the year), plenty of museums, art gallery and theatre to take advantage of.

Very close to the North Yorkshire moors to get out and about to see the amazing scenery and a two hour train journey to London or Edinburgh makes it the perfect spot to get around the UK.
