Sunny, Spacious Converted Bungalow with Distant Sea Views (and parking), Sleeps 6 (+ baby)

Just a five minute walk from Kingsbridge town centre (and a short hop and a skip to Salcombe), our home offers a wonderfully relaxed space to unwind… calming coastal hues, wood floors, cosy fabrics, modern art and vintage furniture-finds combine in our 50 square foot open-plan, living-dining room with bifold doors opening on to the garden with its 2 wildlife rich ponds just a step away.

We've recently extended and converted the loft to create a generous 3 bed, 3 bath home with everything you might need for a relaxing break near some of Britain's best beaches and most stunning coastline.

Downstairs you'll find a generous entrance hall and large coat cupboard and a beautifully-appointed ground floor kingsize room (carpeted, with a comfy medium firm bed kingsize bed with ensuite `rain' shower). The second downstairs box bedroom is kept locked when we are away. A spacious utility room across the interior hall provides a washing machine, tumble drier, utility sink and linen cupboard.

A well equipped cook's kitchen with a separate pantry (where the fridge is), offers a large gas hob and electric range cooker and there's a separate NEFF oven too. With room for 10 around the dining table, there's plenty of space to enjoy lovely meals and make wonderful memories. Piano players can make some music too! A Stokke highchair is available for little guests.

Our large, side-extension greenhouse is big enough to offer comfy chairs for two and is the perfect place to enjoy a cuppa on sunny days in Spring and Autumn (prob too hot in Summer)!

Outside, pond lovers big and small can enjoy dipping in our two ponds and if you're lucky you might find a slow worm or two; there's plenty for plant lovers to enjoy, but please note, this is a garden on split levels. You might want to wander in to the field via the garden gate and admire the long views to the ria (estuary) if the nettles aren't too high (the field isn't ours to upkeep sadly)!... whilst you inhale the Devon sea air from one of the teak deck chairs on a small separate patio area.

Upstairs you'll find a super king bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower over bath) and a double room with a private bathroom (shower only). Both rooms have views, the main bedroom has distant estuary views and the other bedroom enjoys town views. Every corner of the house has something of interest to see and as we are high up on a hill, expect a good workout when you run out to the Salcombe Bakehouse on the highs tree in the mornings for your croissants and sourdough!
