Our 3 storey Victorian house is situated in a quiet off-street crescent of just 14 houses. The ground floor has an open-plan living / dining area leading to a conservatory and kitchen, with a small secluded courtyard garden. Upstairs there is a king size bedroom, a double bedroom and a large bathroom with a roll top bath, with a further office/ studio on the top floor with an ensuite shower room.
About the location
Our area of Hastings is quiet and leafy, five minutes walk to Alexander Park with lots of woodland walks nearby and access to West Hill, Hastings Castle and the various historical attractions like the Smugglers tunnels. Hastings has pier and a pebbled beach as well as acres of National Park, Britain's only working fishing beach and the historical Old Town with many small independent shops, bars and restaurants. This area of East Sussex has several places of interest including Battle, where the Battle of Hastings was fought in 1066, Lewes, home to Charleston the legendary home of the Bloomsbury Group, Glydebourne, the ancient smugglers town of Rye and several castles.
