Oasis of peace in Bohemian paradise

You are welcome in the oasis of peace and tranquility in Bohemian Paradise - magical region near Prague.

Simple modest house is quiet , our neighbors are nice people who only come for weekends or summer holidays. On the ground floor there is a spacious, bright and modern kitchen linked to the living room (sleeping sofa) with a fire place. From the kitchen, you can go directly to the garden, so enjoy breakfast in nature whenever you want!

Next to the kitchen is a small bathroom, a separate toilet, and a children`s room (spring mattress is here for relaxing or sleeping). Family with small children are welcome :-) A staircase leads to the first floor.

On the first floor is bedroom (double bed, baby bed and crib), balcony - during summer nights enjoy stunning sights in the night sky - and something we called warehouse (another „bed“ – spring mattress), since we moved a year ago. We use this room also as workroom sometimes. Next year, for sure, will be house more comfy and cosy, be patient with us – we do our best :-)

All areas of the house have Wifi.

About the location

Our house is 75 minutes from Prague airport. The house is in really small village, just few houses and large deep forests and rocks all around. Far away enough from all stress, to enjoy peace and quiet. For swimming or ice skating there is pond with clear refreshing water. You may watch many species of birds and bugs too.

There is space outside to park your vehicle. Children may use wooden children playhouse, swing or sandpit, adults barbecue :-) The garden is not fenced.
The surrounding area is an ideal place for hiking, mountain climbing, cycling. There is also natural swimming pond nearby.

The village you can reach by car or by bus. For shopping (small supermarket) you can go less than 3 kilomethers (to next village). Bigger supermarkets are 10 minutes by car in nearest town – Turnov and Mnichovo Hradiště.

House is just 10 km from nearest city, where you can find all, what you need - supermarkets, groceries, bakeries, cinema, train station and so on. You can travel to the city by bus, but it is more convenient by car.

Bohemian Paradise, known in Czech as Český ráj, is a region and a protected landscape area about 90 kilometers north-east of Prague. It belongs to the most popular tourist destinations in the whole of Czechia.

For centuries the Bohemian Paradise area has attracted painters, writers, artists, and dreamers of all kinds. Discover this unique combination of bizarre rock formations, deep pine forests, majestic castles and sublime villages of timber cottages, losing yourself for a moment in the labyrinth that is the Bohemian Paradise area.
You’ll be moving through narrow cracks in the rock, climbing up inside them and enjoying the views from their lofty heights. One of the finest views is from the Kozákov tower. Nor should you miss a visit to the rock formations at Hrubá Skála and the elegant Hrubá Skála Chateau, perched right on top of the rocks. Another attraction is the ruins of Trosky Castle; to reach it you’ll have to climb to the top of two steep peaks that were once active volcanoes. If you love fairytale castles, head for impregnable Kost.
