About the location
Our house is situated in a cul de sac at the the top of a lovely estate in a small village called, Ballon in county Carlow which is set overlooking mt Leinster. it is a 15 min drive to the larger Town of Carlow and approx 1 hour from Dublin, Waterford and Wexford. The village itself has a number of shops, bars and takeaways and has a lovely little cafe which we highly reccomend. the are a large number of local sights to see within 15 min drive from the house, such as the lovely Altmount Gardens, Huntington Castle and mt Leinster drive.
