Welcome to our spacious home near London, in the Hampshire countryside. A traditional cottage from 1903, it's been extended and made into a large spacious 5-bedroom family home. There are multiple spaces to relax, along with a smart garden with raised sofa area, barbecue and hot tub. A main feature of the house is a huge eat-in kitchen with lots of natural light. The house is a really nice mixture of cosy and contemporary and a great base to explore London, the English countryside and the south coast. We're 2 mins walk from a town centre full of pubs, restaurants and shops.

About the location

Fleet is an affluent town, voted as one of the nicest places to live in England. It's in the countryside, surrounded by pine forests but only about 40 by train from London and superbly connected by road to everywhere. We're also near historic sights like Windsor Castle and Stonehenge as well as the New Forest and the River Thames. Or if you have teenagers, Thorpe Park - one of the best theme parks in the UK. A pleasant canal runs through Fleet, which you can walk along or cycle, to lovely English pubs for dinner or just a pint. There's also lot of countryside walks nearby and a large natural lake, confusingly called Fleet Pond. A pond is normally tiny!
