About the location

Due to its high number of artists, Gabriola is known as the Isle of the Arts. It is one of the Southern Gulf islands, a stunning archipelago situated in the Salish Sea, between the city of Vancouver and Vancouver Island. It is the size of Manhattan, but with a full-time population of 5,000.
There are miles of trails throughout the island and over a hundred public access points to its gorgeous coastline. There is a full range of amenities and is serviced regularly by both BC Ferries and commercial float planes - it's a twenty minute flight from downtown Vancouver.
