About the location

The South Bank area of York is one of the most desirable suburbs of the City. The Chocolate Works sits adjacent to York Racecourse and just over a mile on foot along the river Ouse into the City Centre. A beautiful park with tennis courts, Rowntree Park, is a five minute walk away and the award-winning ‘Bishy Road’ is a fifteen minute walk, this has local shops, bars, pubs and restaurants and a lovely community feel.

York station is a half hour walk away with local trains to Harrogate, Knaresborough, the coast and non stop to London in 1hour 45 minutes.

Lovely local walks along the river up to Bishopthorpe village, the location is also great for Race lovers!
