❤ Holiday house at Transylvania (RO), near Harghita Bai and Miercurea Ciuc

The accomodation is a wooden holiday house with a large garden. The living room, a small kitchen corner, and a bathroom are on the gound floor, the upper floor is one spacy bedroom for all.

Heating is done by a wood heated tile stove with glass window, it can get really warm in the whole house.

Having two floors, one room each, separated only by the stairs it is a perfect getaway for 6 persons.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, all types of kitchen utensils, hot water, coffee machine.

The bathroom is a usual one with a shower inside. No bathtub.

There is good wifi set up.

In the garden there is a dining area with a roof, a reaxing shade where you can still be outside but avoid the sun. An oven and grill fireplace where you can barbecue.

In the back of the house there is a wooden hot tub for 4 (or more if necessary :) ) It can get really hot in the winter or a cooldown opportunity in the summer. Really a great time using it!

PLEASE REALISE THAT IT`S A HOLIDAY HOUSE IN A FOREST ENVIRONMENT, THEREFORE SOME OF THE USUAL AMENITIES (LIKE TV SET, CENTRAL HEATING) ARE MISSING!

About the location

Relaxing walks around the area, picking berries in the autumn, finding the nearby natural fountains or searching for mushrooms in the woods.

There is a short ski slope functioning with a T-bar ski lift in the winter around a kilometer away from the house on the road towards the city. Good for beginners and intermediate or learning for a first try. There is a restaurant by 15-minute walk from the cabin.

You can visit the nearby Harghita Bai (Hargitafürdő) ski resort where you can do quite beautiful hikes, have lunch at a restaurant, do some obstacle climbing in the Balu adventure park, cable swing over a mini lake or try a sulfur gas wellness called mofetta. You can get there by car or hiking right from the accomodation, through marked paths. The best hike from there is to go to the highest local peak 1759m and take a view of the Csíki bazin.

You can visit also balnear beaches with mineral water at the nearby city Vlahita (Szentegyháza). One of them is thermal one.

No council or any other tax. We do not charge for cleaning and laundry.
