Smithy Cottage

Our beautiful chocolate box stone cottage! A former blacksmiths cottage built in 1850.

Over the last year we have lovingly restored our cottage into a cosy rural home only a mile from the beach.

Cottage consists of kitchen, lounge ( with log burner), dining room ( with log burner), downstairs bathroom with shower, 3 bedrooms and upstairs WC.

Very quaint, cosy and beautiful.
Cottage has large front and back gardens, with distant sea view ! Perfect for sitting out and enjoying the peace and tranquility.

Smithy cottage is situated on the beautiful heritage coastline in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales.

A wonderful rural and coastal setting all in one.

Although in the rural hamlet of Monknash the location is perfect. Nearby Market towns of Llantwit Major and Cowbridge just a few miles away.

Welsh capital Cardiff 23 miles away. Swansea 27 miles away.

There are 4 local village pubs to choose from, all a short walk away.

Walking possibilities are endless with breath taking views wherever you look.
