Quiet Suburban Bungalow with separate one bed garden cottage

We're hoping to find swaps for school holiday periods in the coming year: October half-term 21st - 28th October '23; Easter- 30th March to 14th April '24; Half term - 25th May - 2nd June '24; or summer - 25th July to 23rd August '24.

The main accommodation is on the ground floor of our spacious bungalow, which consists of a large sitting / living room, separate dining room, large kitchen with annexed utility room and large, newly refurbished bathroom with walk in wet-room style shower, roll-top bath and double sinks. There are two double bedrooms (one en-suite) on the ground floor and a single bedroom with adjustable height bed (normally used by my daughter who has special needs). On the upper floor there is a further large, super-king bedroom in the eaves of the house. We have a terrace with comfortable seating and a spacious mature garden, which is normally blissfully quiet. In the garden cottage, there is a small double bedroom, a shower room and an open-plan living / dining / kitchen area with French doors out into the garden. About the location

We live in a quiet settled neighbourhood without through-roads so there is little traffic. We are only approximately 3 miles from Heathrow though thankfully not on the flight path so planes rarely disturb the quiet. There are shops within an easy 5-10 minute walk and larger shopping facilities within a 10 minute drive. While we are very much in a suburban area, we can walk to a beautiful lake, community orchard and forest park within 10 minutes. Our allotment is also within an easy 5 minute walk. We can get to London Waterloo from the local train station in just under 30 minutes (total journey time via public transport is just under an hour). We are situated very close to the Thames with associated river walks and boat hire. Kew gardens, Richmond, Windsor, Runnymede and the Magna Carta and Hampton Court are all within 20-30 minutes drive. We are also close to Legoland and Thorpe Park - so perfect for theme park excursions.
