Beautiful family home 2 minutes walk to Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth, Cornwall

Our house is a large semi-detached end of terrace period home. Tastefully decorated and art-filled we enjoy warm, rich colours and comfortable furnishings throughout. Large living room, dining room and separate kitchen cover the ground floor and make for a social downstairs space.

In addition we have a separate porch hallway for spades, buckets and wellies - and even a (heated!) outdoor shower for wetsuits and warming up post-swim!

We have three bedrooms available, as well as a double sofa bed in the living room. The house contains a studio which can also be turned into a simple fourth bedroom. Sea views from the master bedroom to across Falmouth Bay. King size bed in the master bedroom, twin beds in the second bedroom and a double bed in the third.

Set up for our young family of five, we can cater excellently to children and toddler. We We have a separate utility room with washer and dryer, two ovens, induction hob, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities.

We have a sun-filled front garden with picnic tables and benches for evening drinks or breakfast. At the back we have a small paved garden, currently empty but also perfect for eating alfresco.

This is our family home rather than a holiday home. The house would suit a family, a couple who enjoy their space or perhaps even a couple of artists who wish to paint in Cornwall for a couple of weeks.

We have a dog who will travel with us when we don't do a dog-sitting stay (via another website). You wouldn't ever know a dog lives here normally, and her stuff will be kept to a discreet minimum.

About the location

Our home is situated on a friendly, quiet street a two minute walk to one of Cornwall's most spectacular Blue Flag beaches, Gyllyngvase Beach. Also within a minute's walk is Princess Pavilions, a brilliant live music venue and community garden with cafe and bar.

Situated in the heart of Falmouth, the house is ideally located for the shops and restaurants in the town as well as the station which is less than 5 minutes walk away. Sailing and diving opportunities abound with the harbour less than 10 minutes from the house.

Access to the South West Coast Path is also very easy from the house, again just a few minutes walk down to the end of the beach.
