Views in Looe! A 4 bedroom family home, walking distance to Looe and the beach with views of Looe River and Valley

Our home is situated near the top of the Shutta valley in East Looe. We have gorgeous views of the rivers from the house and garden. Pixies Holt is a characterful Edwardian house with four bedrooms, dining room, lounge, kitchen and plenty of bathrooms (it used to be a BnB so every bedroom has an en suite). The house is well loved, but a little worn round the edges - a long term project for us to gradually update, so be prepared for some decor that is a little dated! A footpath runs alongside the house that takes you into Looe town centre in 10 minutes along the edge of East Looe with glorious views over the valley and town. A word of warning though - there are lots of steps and a very steep drive up to the house, so it would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues and probably not young toddlers either. The garden is tiered due the steep slope we live on, but there is plenty of space to sit out and soak up the views and to have a BBQ. Nestled in the corner of the garden there is also a shed where our two guinea pigs live, and we would hopefully find someone to swap who would be willing to feed them each day - they are very low maintenance :)

About the location

Looe is a beautiful Cornish fishing town, with a family friendly, sandy beach in town as well as more wild beaches that can be accessed via the Southwest Coastpath in either direction. This area is all about the coast with sandy beaches, rocky beaches, rock pools and water sports all within walking distance of the house. Looe is very much a holiday town, so you will find plenty of restaurants, cafes, ice cream stalls and local shops to entertain you. An easy drive away, you can also explore Bodmin Moor, as well as other beautiful local coastal towns such as Polperro and Fowey.
