We built our lovely family home in 2018 and it is situated in a peaceful Cambridgeshire hamlet with stunning views. Downstairs has a large lounge with wood burner, dining room that can seat up to 8 and separate kitchen family room. The kitchen /family room overlooks the rear garden and has a separate sofa and football table for visiting teenagers and their friends!
Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms, 3 double bedrooms with en suite, one further double bedroom, twin room and family bathroom.
Outside there is space for several cars and large garden to rear.

About the location

We live in a pretty hamlet on the border of the 3 counties of Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Essex and are 6 miles from the medieval market town of Saffron Walden. Close by is also Haverhill with local supermarkets, cinema and sports centre and the pretty village of Linton. Our local village of Castle Camps is 2 miles and there are many local pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area but a car is essential.
We are ideally situated for bike rides and walks in the countryside but have lots of places close by to explore as well.
The beautiful city of Cambridge is 15 miles with its historic colleges and punting excursions on the river Cam.
London is 1 hour by train from Cambridge or Audley End Stations and worth a day trip.
Thetford forest is great for outdoor activities including ,mountain bike trails,Go Ape and hiring Segways in the forest trails.
