Period holiday house in beautiful North Suffolk

This is our beloved second home in a beautiful village on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. It is a spacious 400 year old timber-framed house, with inglenooks, wood burners and beams, with 4 bedrooms, (sleeps 7-8) a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen, an old fashioned cottage garden - and a tree house. It’s kid and dog friendly. It has WiFi, TV with Netflix etc and a landline. Its a comfy country, home, quirky and personal, shabby chic rather than boutique.

About the location

The house sits on the gorgeous green of an historic village with a shop, a fantastic pub and country and river walks; it’s within half an hour of the wonderful coast at Southwold and Walberswick, the cities of Norwich and Bury St Edmunds, and many country attractions, forests, markets and pubs, etc. Suffolk is a magical rural county with many hidden gems in the form of historic villages, beaches, forests and heathland, a joyful place to be for adults kids and dogs!
