***A family home in North East London***. Our home is located in Highams Park, a very pleasant area, very well located for countryside and City life.
We are surrounding by the forest, a lake, golf and also shops and a train station. All you need.
Our street is very quiet as we are in a cul-de-sac.

The train station is only 5 minutes walking from the house. We have a direct overground line (every 15min) from Liverpool street station to highams park in 25min. It’s very easy to reach out Central London.
Our house is located in zone 4 from a tfl perspective.

We are also at the border of Essex with easy reach to the countryside (we have a large park and a lake 3min walk from the house). We are regularly doing daily trips to Kent, sea-side, cambridgeshire ...


Home details:
The house is 140 square meters (built in 1950s). We recently have done a rear extension. The ground floor is totally refurbished with a large open space.

Upstairs, we have still some decoration to do (mainly painting).

We have 4 bedrooms for at least 5 people. In addition, our 2 sofas in living room are convertible and that is possible to accommodate more people. You could be up to 7 people in house.

Ground floor :
entrance with hallway, 1 toilet, 1 study room, large open space with living room with 2 sofas and TV (Netflix and Virgin Media), a dining area and a kitchen fully equipped.

The rear of the house opens out through onto a garden with table, chairs and a bbq to relax.

First Floor: 1 double bedroom (king size bed), 3 singles bedrooms with single bed in each one. Upstairs there is also a family bathroom with shower and toilet.

Garden with terrace, table, chairs, bbq, trampoline and access to 3 bikes (2 adults and 1 for teen) which you can use.

Off Street Parking in front of house.

We have a cat very friendly (breed : Devon rex) and a dog (Old Tyme English Bulldog).
If you are pet lovers and happy to take care of our pets during the exchange, that would be great! If you don`t want or can`t, no problem, we will find a pet care home for them.

About the location

We are living in North East of London in the borough of Waltham Forest (Greater London).

The house is close to nature, shops and transports. There are plenty of shops and transport services within 5 minutes walk (shops, restaurants and a big supermarket).
We are also nearby nature : Epping Forest, Lea Valley Park, Highams Park, Walthamstow marshes and canal.

Our place is a quiet street in a leafy area of north east London, with good transport links. The nearest station is Highams Park Station (zone 4) and is 5 minutes on foot from house.

From Highams Park Station, you take the overground line and you can:
- go to Liverpool Street Sation in the city of London (25 minutes travel)
or
- Join Victoria Line (the tube) at Walthamstow Central Station. Victoria Line is about 5 minutes from Highams Park Station by overground.
Then you can catch the Victoria line to go in central London, it takes about 30 minutes it is a very straightforward journey. You will join some tourists places (for example 23 minutes journey to Oxford Street, central London).

We have a plenty of activities at least 15 minutes from house (cinema, tennis, pool, trampolining, climbing, golf, sky trail ...).
We are 10 minutes by biking to Europe`s largest street market in Walthamstow.

5 minutes walk from house we have stops buses. You can take buses to Stratford International, the Olympic Park and Europe`s largest shopping centre - Westfield.

If you drive, we are also at the border of Essex with easy reach to the countryside . We are regularly doing daily trips to Kent, sea-side, cambridgeshire ...
