About the location

Palm trees and sea breezes... it`s a tropical paradise. Punta Gorda is a hidden gem of a small town with the convenience of a big town, Port Charlotte, right across the bridge. You`ll find unique shops, restaurants and lively bars, both downtown and at Fishermen`s Village (www.fishville.com). Take classes or find gifts at the Visual Arts Center in town.

Plenty of open air markets on the weekends and live music at night. Hang out at the Tikki Hut to watch the sun go down or cast your kayaks from Ponce de Leon park and paddle into the mangrove tunnels. This is a boating community with all sizes and types of seacraft to rent. Or go on one of the harbor cruises. The community has a number of golf courses as well as tennis, and pickle ball, courts. Easy town for bike riding.
