It is situated in a sought after location in Orgiva, just above the town.

Nestled in the country side, surrounded by olive, orange, and lemon trees, grape vines, almond and other fruit and flowering shrubs, it offers you breath taking views of the surrounding mountains. Yet, it is only 7 minutes walk to the market town of Orgiva with it´s cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, and local amenities.

With sunshine guaranteed for at least 9 months of the year, and a private pool to cool off from the summer heat, the property offers both a space to relax and a central base to explore the region.

Located some 450 metres above sea level, Orgiva (the capital of the Western Alpujarras) lies in the Alpujarra valley between the Sierra de Lujar and the Sierra Nevada in the province of Granada. It has a population of around 6,000 and offers a cosmopolitan mix of people and lifestyles. Orgiva is often described as "the gateway" to this region.

This region is one of the finest walking areas in Europe and has been certified by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve. The stunning landscapes of La Alpujarra is rich and varied - dramatic mountain peaks, fertile valleys and forests, olive and orange groves, rivers, lakes and waterfalls, picturesque white mountain villages, snow and sand.

Spain`s highest mountains the "Sierra Nevada" provide a magnificent backdrop to this partly undiscovered area of Spain, rich in history and culture, music and dance, fiestas and flamenco and some of the best and least expensive food and wine to be found...and tapas (complimentary bites/snacks served with each round of drinks ordered). .

The nearest coast, the Costa Tropical, less than half an hour away by car, offers you the warm waters of the Mediterranean sea with its abundance of fresh sea food, salads and traditional dishes. Mimosa, jacaranda, sugar cane, palm and date trees, thrive in this slice of tropical paradise, as do other luscious tropical plants and trees..

Bus services connect Orgiva to the coastal towns including Málaga, Marbella, Almeria, Cadiz and beyond, to the "Spa" town of Lanjarón, the popular white villages of the Sierra Nevada, and the provincial capital Granada.

By car, Granada and the Alhambra Palace are 45 mins, Granada Airport an hour away, the Sierra Nevada Ski resorts 1 hour and the Costa Tropical coast and the picturesque white mountain villages are less than 30 minutes away. Malaga is 1.5 hours by car.
