Light and airy family home for visiting London and the Surrey countryside

Our recently renovated home offers spacious family-friendly and accessible accommodation for anyone visiting the south of England.

We have four bedrooms (one king size, two doubles and one with a cabin-style bunk bed). One of the double bedrooms is on the ground floor and features an accessible en suite wet room. The other three bedrooms, a family bathroom and a study are on the first floor. We have a large family living area with a log fire, comfy sofas, large TV, and lots of natural light. There is a separate "den" with kid-friendly options like an XBox and DVD / TV. We also have plenty of lego, games and toys, plus a football goal and a trampoline in the back garden.

We have an open-plan kitchen, and separate utility room as well as an additional toilet downstairs. There is space on the front drive for two cars to park.

We do have two cats, ideally any house swap would involve their care but we can make other arrangements if necessary.

About the location

Guildford is an old market town complete with an ancient castle, cobbled high street, and a multitude of shops, restaurants and excellent pubs.

For those preferring a natural break, the Surrey Hills are on our doorstep. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has many local walks, views, pubs, and excellent cycling options (both on- and off-road). We love these hills and are very happy to suggest options if you wish.

Our home would be well suited to a family break. Guildford mainline station has a regular fast train service into London Waterloo, which is a great jumping-off point to explore all that London has to offer. We also have easy access to family days out such as Legoland Windsor, Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe Park (all 20-40 minutes away by car).
