Triplex apartment in beautiful Kalkan, Turkey

Our apartment is one of three, set in a quiet residential area, with stunning views across the bay, and back over to the hills. It is a 3 bedroom triplex, with a double bedroom ensuite, with balcony overlooking the bay and sea. There is a second family bathroom, and a twin bedroom with balcony, overlooking gardens and to the mountains. We have just had a third bedroom built, with 2 twin beds (which can be put together to make a double).

All the bedrooms and the lounge have air conditioning.
Outside in the garden, there is a shaded pergola, with a private, eight feet long dining table and a barbecue. There are lemon, pomegranate, loquat and olive trees in the garden.

Lovely swimming pool, 8m x 4m, shared by us and the other two apartments.

Please note that there are 14 steps up to our entrance area, and two sets of stairs which may cause difficulties for anyone with mobility issues.

About the location

Kalkan is a beautiful old town, with a blue flag beach and lovely harbour. Boat trips and all types of water sports and beach clubs are available. Dozens of restaurants fill the Old Town which was originally Greek.

Our apartment is one of just three in a building set in a very quiet residential area. Easy to walk down to town (about 10 minutes) or even easier by taxi for around £4. Two good supermarkets are two minutes walk away.

There are many historical sites within easy driving, Patara, Myra, Knossos, Tlos and others. The world famous Lycian Way is nearby for walkers. Patara, with 18km of perfect sandy beach and no buildings allowed, is ‘one of the prettiest beaches in the world’ ( Sunday Times), and home to famous turtles, Caretta Caretta, is 18 km away.
