Little House with Character - Banyuls sur Mer

A small house in the seaside town of Banyuls sur Mer. 3 floors: Ground floor, storage and spare room. First Floor: terrace, open plan kitchen and living room. Second Floor: double bedroom, toilet, shower, hand basin and then mezzanine with two single beds. The house has one face, south to the mountains . The other three faces/sides are butted to another house on each side. A modest house, but clean and comfortable. Suitable for two grown ups and OK for four but you may find it a little crowded if you are used to living in a larger home.

About the location

The house is set in a quiet residential area about 8 minutes walk from the sea and town centre. Banyuls is in the south of the south of France and is one of four towns, Collioure, Port Vendres, Banyuls sur Mer and finally Cerbere , on the road to, and almost in, Spain. This is a rocky coast with winding roads and stunning views of sea and mountains. The Col de Banyuls is on the Spanish border where there are monuments to the fleeing Spanish Republicans who hoped that they would find safety in France.
