Burlington, Vermont is rated as one of the most livable cities in the USA. It has a lively farm to table movement and many chef owned restaurants. Breweries and distilleries abound, too. Its location on the shores of Lake Champlain near both the Adirondack Mountains and the Green Mountains means there is hiking, biking, skiing and boating near at hand and amazing sunsets all year round. There are festivals every weekend all summer. It is a wonderful place to come.
