Newly refurbished family terrace house, in leafy suburb, 30 mins from Central London

We are a family of 2 working adults and 2 boys, 11 and 8 years old.

We have a 3 bedroom house, with a large family area downstairs, a modern eat in kitchen, media room/den, separate adult lounge area with fire, medium size garden with treehouse. The children have large rooms on the middle landing with a wealth of toys and lego! They both have adult single beds, with trundle beds underneath which make 2 x adult singles OR 1 x adult double. They are very easy to put up and down. We also have a baby travel cot which accommodates one child/toddler up to about 2.5 years but do note we no longer have infants so although we have a cot we do not have a high chair, stair gates etc.

The loft room is a large king sized bed and an en suite shower room which also has a charming roof terrace.

We have a great TV area downstairs with surround sound, (smart TV, netflix etc) fun if you love movies! We have a wine fridge, and a well lit and pleasant garden to sit in.

Our area is very well connected for Hampton Court Palace (10 mins) which is a fascinating day out and also has a lovely adventure playground, Bushy Park (a royal park with roaming deer and a fabulous adventure playground), Richmond Park, Richmond upon Thames, Kew Gardens (15 minutes), the river Thames for boat trips in and up to Central London, a wonderful high street with great restaurants, pubs, independent butchers, bakers and fishmongers and gift shops, Twickenham rugby stadium (15 minutes), Wimbledon (15 minutes on train) and a half an hour into Waterloo and all the delights for a city break in bustling London city, the London Eye, theatreland, shopping and Westminster.

We have no pets and just a few house plants to look after. We are largely only interested in house swaps in the UK school holidays or at weekends but always open to a discussion. We are open to lending our Audi A4 car (automatic) aswell if needed.

About the location

Teddington is a lovely well looked after residential area. We are fortunate to be surrounded by royal parks, Teddington Lock (on the Thames), riverside pubs, family friendly restaurants, 2 large screen cinemas and bowling alleys, 30 minutes on a train to central London, 30 min drive to Legoland or Chessington, and 30 minutes to the heart of Surrey Hills. There are three theatres (Richmond, Kingston, Wimbledon) as well being half an hour from London`s theatres and art galleries.
