About the location
Antony recently voted 5th best place to live in France, by French people. Excellent local amenities (swimming pools, independent cinema, circus space, theatres, good shops). Lovely parks for small kids 5mins walk. Tennis courts and pony riding 5minwalk. Best market in Ile de France on Tues, Thurs and Sun. V well situated for transport, on RERB line, 7min walk to station, direct line to CDG or Gare du Nord. 20min to Notre Dame. Motorway links also v good (A86, 15m drive to Versailles if the traffic’s OK), A10, A6. But you don’t need a car to get around. Great local walks (coulée verte, covered train line all the way to Paris for walking/cycling).
