About the location
The cottage is in the Black Mountains, on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons, with wonderful walks directly from the door. 1.5 miles from Abergavenny, attractive market town with plenty of independent shops and a weekly flea market. The town hosts a well known food fair in September. Cardiff and Hereford less than an hour`s drive or 40 minutes by train. London Paddington in 3 hours. Hay on Wye a scenic 40 minute drive away. Great cycling locally and access to the Taff Trail (Brecon to Cardiff) along the Monmouth and Brecon Canal at Llanfoist. Mountain biking on Sugar Loaf. The Crown pub - serving wonderful food - is within walking distance of the cottage. Two Michelin starred restaurants within 20 minutes by car.
